Phillip Martin is a Shareholder whose practice includes estate planning, probate law, estate and trust administration, business organizations, and nonprofit law. He advises individuals and organizations on asset protection, wealth transfer, and business succession, providing practical guidance through complex planning decisions. Phillip earned his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe and held leadership roles in the Pro Bono Society and Christian Legal Society. He received numerous academic honors, including CALI Awards and the Albert C. Todd III Estate Planning Award. He is active in the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar, Greenville County Bar Association, Greenville Estate Planning Council, and Greenville Estate Planning Study Group. His recognitions include The Best Lawyers in America, Greenville Business Magazine Legal Elite, and South Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Star. Phillip enjoys endurance sports, outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife Laura and their children. They attend Grace Church Taylors.
