Last weekend, attorneys David Merline, Keith Meacham, Bob August, and Doug O’Neal, attended the 2026 ACTEC Southeast Regional Meeting in Alexandria, Virginia.

The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) is a prestigious, peer-elected association recognizing top-tier trust and estate attorneys with at least 10 years of active experience and an outstanding professional reputation.

From September 17–20, our team connected with other ACTEC Fellows and industry leaders, attended premier CLE programs, and worked toward ACTEC’s mission of improving and reforming probate, trust, and tax laws. It wasn’t all business, though—they also enjoyed exploring historic Alexandria, including a bike tour, an Old Town walking history tour, touring George Washington’s Mount Vernon, and taking part in local events like a casual dinner at the Torpedo Factory Art Center and an evening at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
