Merline & Meacham, P.A. was founded in Greenville, South Carolina in 1970 by Dave Merline. Beginning his career as a trust officer in Columbia, Dave relocated to Greenville to start his law practice with Mac Walters, who soon became IRS Commissioner. Following that, Dave officially established Merline & Meacham, P.A.

The firm specializes in tax law, estate planning, probate, and business law. Over the years, it has grown to more than a dozen attorneys across offices in Greenville and Columbia, serving clients throughout the Upstate and Midlands.

The attorneys collectively hold 40 academic degrees, 16 certifications, and LL.M. degrees in Taxation, with many recognized as certified specialists and Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
